He was once a boy, much like me,
A little footloose and fancy-free,
Yet, for him, God had a greater plan,
As He purposed to fashion a godly man.
A man who will leave a legacy,
Of faithfulness and charity,
A man of virtue, strength and light,
One who is gifted with great foresight.
Who will train up his children after him,
That they may find favor with God and man.
Who has the courage to put his family first,
Teaching them for God’s Word to thirst.
In a culture filled with wickedness and sin,
He has the backbone not to waver, or give in.
He is everything a Dad should be,
And now I want the world to see,
That of all the heroes I’ve ever had,
My greatest hero is still My Dad!
Happy Father’s Day Dad! I wish you were home today!
All my love,
Tyler

Thank you son!! I am humbled, honored and greatly blessed by your devotion. Wish I was home too.
p.s. I’m not sure it’s a good thing for my men to see their captain bawling at work.
